Board Meeting December 6, 2023
Meeting called to order: Larry Ward 6 pm
Board Members present: Larry Ward, Jay Grover, Cheryl Wallis, Kellie Allsop, Tom Allsop, Jon Leonard, and 1+ club members.
Minutes of October were read by Kellie Allsop. Motion was made to accept as read: Cheryl 2nd : Jay Motion passed.
The treasurer’s report was read by Cheryl Wallis. Income $3590.00, Expenses $2749.00 Motion to accept as read was made by: Kellie and 2nd: Jay motion passed.
Old Business:
Nomination of members for 2024 board is out. Positions open is the following: REPLY with this email for any nominations. A) Secretary (1 year term) (So far nominated Kellie) B) President (1 year term) (so far nominated Larry) C) VP (1 year term) (So far nominated Jay) D) Treasurer (1 year term) (so far nominated Cheryl) E) 2 board positions (2-year term) Please plan to attend the January meeting to vote. No updates on land for new club as of yet. We are still working on this and are actively looking and speaking to others. If you know of any contact Tom and discuss with him as he is heading it up along with Marvin and Larry. Added October 21 12:00 noon Women’s Day at the club. Ran same way as before. Adding Trap field for those waiting to shoot 5 stand. Cash or check only. Bring guns, safety gear, ammo Cheryl spoke, and all approved next fundraiser will be meat pack from Hamilton Pack.
Donation of $500 to Shambles family due to loss of home from fire. (Mark, Larry, Kellie, John, Jay, Cheryl)
Donation of Membership and 10 tokens for silent raffle from BSC (Marc, Larry, Kellie, John, Jay, Cheryl) added to Bitterroot Blasters basket for shambles family (this all happened in one last minute decision) verbal agreements.
Bought a new controller for 5 stand. Please do not take equipment apart if not working right, let Larry know about it asap.
New Business:
Update with land Tom: We need to look for land, Fish and Game has hit some walls with it. We are not sure what walls, but the land team is open to looking at all land to move.
Kellie and Cheryl was appointed to write letters by Larry. Submit to whom we need (Government, newspapers, etc) we have 4 years left (October 27, 2027(unless the pull the clause to close us sooner)).
Permission to start posting about land and closing of club on social media, website, etc (hoping to be active soon) full disclosure about club. Motion by Kellie, 2nd by Tom Motion passed.
3 pallets of shells ordered and locked in price. Motion to pay for fuel for person going to pick up by Cheryl, 2nd Kellie; Motion passed.
Move to exchange shells for next fundraiser (meat package from Hamilton Pack) 7 cases of shells for the beef (this will be in the form of gift card) Motion by Cheryl 2nd by Kellie Motion passed.
Next Board Meeting scheduled for January 7, 11 AM at club.

Club going on’s:
Christmas shoot potluck 12/17/2023 12 noon club will provide main dish.
CLUB CLOSED 12/24/2023.
12/31/2023 regular shooting at noon, New Years Eve Fun Shoot at 5pm! Please bring snacks.

Cindy and Ron Frost from Pistol and Pluck stopped by to say Thank you for use of building. We are allowing Mrs. Frost to use the building for her Concealed Weapons classes. She does range time elsewhere, if interested please call Cindy 406-961-5375 (Well worth it!)
