Meeting 08/13/2025
Meeting called to order: Larry 6:01pm
Members present: Lance, Kellie, Cheryl, Larry, Tom, Jay, Marc, Brandon, 2+ guests
Minutes of the June meeting were read by Kellie Allsop. Motion was made to accept as read by
Cheryl, 2nd by Jay, no opposed motion passed.
The treasurer’s report was read by Cheryl Wallis. BSC balance $ 36463.75, Savings 5100.77, CD
value to date $30906.50 HTC Checking $18,031.41 Motion to accept as read was made by: Kellie,
2nd by Brandon, none opposed motion passed.
Old Business:
Larry had no luck on getting ahold of shot recovery, Tom will try a few people.
Land Talk: nothing has moved further. Still working on a couple of angles.
New Business:
Shot Recovery: Tom got ahold of him, and he was going to do it this week. It is possible to have to
push it off as water is in pipes level with ground. If to wet, we will figure out something to be able to
do next year.
Tom is going to back fill the pipe out in field.
Larry requested to gift Ty and Lane Ellis boys for years of help mowing, loading, anything that needs
help with. $100, plus fair passes for the week. Motion to pass Tom, 2nd Kellie, no one opposed
motion passed.
Tom wanted to talk about our Insurance Policy. Do’s and Don’ts. We need to have new people sign
waivers.
People use private throwers, etc on our leased property.
Purposed rewording of rule: No private use of (Hamilton Trap Club/ Bitterroot Sporting Club) property
for shooting. IE: hand throwers, personal machines This is due to insurance policies. Motion to pass
by Lance, 2nd Jay, no one opposed, motion passed. (Signs outside will be re-done as this is already
in policy)
***Larry will not be tending to lawn after January; we will need someone to take on this task for 2026.
It is a volunteer position, please talk to Larry about this if you would like to take this over.
We will be getting a semi load of targets this next week and guess what is on it…… PINK TARGETS,
Yes, we will be pulling off a Breast Cancer Fundraiser shoot that they monies will stay in Ravalli
County. Kellie, Cheryl and Lance are putting it together. We will need Raffle Baskets for bucket raffle
if you want to help with those we def need help on that part talking to businesses and picking them
up. Volunteers to help with the shoot. And of course, spread the word when we get flyer done.
Cheryl and I are super excited, we finally get to do this, and we hope it will be amazing.
Land: no new updates.
Ladies League is every Sunday at 6:30 in September. 200 rds total see flyer. Contact Kellie or
Cheryl for any questions.
